Abstract:This article explores the application of artificial intelligence in English teaching through an AI model based on GPT-4 deep neural networks: Copilot, which can generate various types of outputs based on natural language inputs. Firstly, explain how Copilot is applied and the requirements for prompt language writing when conversing with it, and demonstrate 5 specific examples of its application in English teaching. The article demonstrates how Copilot utilizes advanced artificial intelligence technology to provide useful and interesting information, feedback, and content for teachers and students. This article provides examples and references for English teachers to conduct education and teaching in the context of future artificial intelligence, as well as providing students with more learning resources and opportunities. This article believes that through the teaching example of Copilot, artificial intelligence can effectively improve the professional level of teachers, reduce the workload of teachers, and also improve the English proficiency and interest of students.
