The image method of measuring gravity acceleration by applying free-fall stroboscopic model is studied，the results show that there are five feasible methods，and the reasonable application results are given through measured data．The characteristics and rational application of the image methods are discussed，the image method of the present textbooks is expended，and the corresponding teaching suggestions are put forward．
