Abstract:Interdisciplinary teaching is a choice for realizing the high-quality development of science education as well as a teaching requirement explicitly stated in the Compulsory Education Science Curriculum Standards (2022 Edition). Interdisciplinary teaching in elementary school science is the requirement of the times to promote the curriculum reform in compulsory education; it is the inevitable choice to help integrated learning and disciplinary integration; and it is the target coupling to promote the cultivation of students" scientific core literacy. The overall implementation of interdisciplinary teaching in elementary school science requires the cultivation of teachers" interdisciplinary teaching literacy; the integration of interdisciplinary teaching and information technology resources; the adoption of diversified teaching methods to implement interdisciplinary teaching; and the improvement of evaluation methods for interdisciplinary teaching in elementary school science.
